Former UFC champion Tyron Woodley delivered a personal message to CM Punk on Sunday for his 47th birthday. Punk courteously responded to his friend and fellow Roufusport product.

The Second City Saint celebrated his birthday on Sunday, sharing a picture of a coffee and writing a message to all the people who greeted him. Punk also reposted several greetings on his Instagram stories on his special day.

In a post on his own IG story, Tyron Woodley greeted the six-time WWE World Champion a happy birthday. The two became close after working together at Duke Roufus' gym in Milwaukee.

"Happy Birthday My Brother!! @cmpunk," Woodley wrote.

After walking away from WWE and pro wrestling in 2014, CM Punk tried his hand at mixed martial arts. He signed with the UFC and fought a couple of times for the promotion. However, he lost both fights convincingly and was subsequently released by the promotion.

To prepare for his MMA career, Punk trained at Roufusport in Milwaukee. It's one of the most well-known gyms in the sport, producing UFC champions Tyron Woodley, Rose Namajunas, Belal Muhammad and Anthony Pettis.

CM Punk to meet Jey Uso on WWE RAW

Before The Vision betrayed Seth Rollins, CM Punk won a triple threat match against Jey Uso and LA Knight to become the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins suffered a legitimate injury, and his title was declared vacant.

"Main Event" Jey won a battle royal last week on RAW, earning a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Punk. They are set to battle at Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

RAW general manager Adam Pearce announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Punk and Jey are set to meet this Monday and have a face-to-face.

This week's episode of RAW is live at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
