Tyreek Hill’s social media rivalry with Micah Parsons has been reignited. The former Dallas Cowboys linebacker lashed out at the team’s owner, Jerry Jones, on X, accusing him of slandering his name for months to the media.
The Miami Dolphins receiver responded to Parsons' post saying:
“This is basically a reaction.”•

This isn’t the first time Hill and Parsons have bantered on social media. In 2023, Hill called the All-Pro defensive player angry after the latter posted stuff about him online. While the two have often publicly challenged each other, they appear to have some mutual respect for one another. Parsons has previously admitted how difficult it is to cover a speedster like Hill. Last year, Parsons publicly invited Hill to join the Cowboys, citing Texas’s lack of state income tax as an incentive.
In the end, Hill stayed in South Beach with the Dolphins, but it has been a miserable season for him and the team. Hill was ruled out for the season in late September after dislocating his left knee and suffering numerous torn ligaments in Week Four. There is one more game remaining in the regular season, with the Dolphins already assured of missing the playoffs for a second consecutive season.
As for Parsons, he was traded to the Green Bay Packers just before the regular season began. The Packers are 9-6 and playoff-bound once again. Parsons had been seeking a new contract with the Cowboys before the trade despite having one final year remaining on his rookie deal.
Since departing Parsons has had some harsh words not only for Jones but also for the Cowboys organisation. He mocked defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus late last month after the latter admitted the team struggled defensively in 2025. This season, the Cowboys have given up the third-most yards per game in the NFL at 376.8.
Parsons speaks up for ex-Cowboys teammate
Parsons may not think too highly of his former team right now, but he has respect for one of their former players.
The Cheesheads' defensive player recently spoke out in defence of Trevon Diggs. The Pro Bowl cornerback was claimed off waivers by Green Bay on New Year’s Eve. Cowboys’ fans have been critical of Diggs since departing. Parsons urged those people to give him a proper farewell and to wish him the best.
Parsons adds that he doesn’t understand why breakups like the one between Diggs and the Cowboys have to be seen in a negative light. Diggs is a former First-team All-Pro who has struggled to stay healthy over the past few seasons.
The former Cowboys linebacker believes that Diggs is in a better situation right now and is confident he will be great again.
