The Denver Broncos (9-2) defeated Kansas City 22-19 on a walk-off 35-yard field goal by Wil Lutz, extending their win streak to eight games. Bo Nix's drive was decisive. He converted a key third-down with a 32-yard pass to Troy Franklin and moved the Broncos into field-goal range with under a minute left.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes threw for 276 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Kansas City led 19-16 after Kelce’s 21-yard catch, but Frank Crum blocked the extra point attempt. It helped Denver keep the game within reach. The Broncos tied the game on Lutz’s 54-yard kick with 4:10 remaining, and ran out the clock with a 58-yard, 10-play drive.

The loss raised serious concerns about the Chiefs' (5-5) playoff hopes.

Travis Kelce’s legacy with the Kansas City Chiefs

Travis Kelce’s legacy with the Kansas City Chiefs is cemented by several franchise records he owns. He broke the team's all-time touchdown mark on Sunday by catching his 84th regular-season score, surpassing Priest Holmes.

Kelce also holds the Chiefs’ all-time receptions record, and leads the franchise with 12,691 career receiving yards.

The tight end brings consistency to the team beyond the numbers. He has caught a pass in 174 consecutive games, which is the longest streak in team history. Kelce's accolades also include seven consecutive seasons (2016 to 2022) with 1,000+ receiving yards, an NFL tight end record.

The Chiefs have won three Super Bowls with him, hosted six straight AFC championship games and earned multiple AFC West titles.
