Typhoon Family episode 14 & 15 recap
Episode 13 opens with Mi-seon inspecting glove cartons in the storeroom, dreaming of trading. Hyun-jun sneaks in, sets several boxes ablaze, locks the door, and leaves. Mi-seon panics as flames spread. Soon, Tae-poong arrives and rescues her. At the hospital her tests are fine. She confesses she likes him and asks him to date her. He tells her not to ask in such a place.
Elsewhere, Cha Seon-taek confronts Hyun-jun about the warehouse tip. Hyun-jun won’t deny setting the fire and continues threatening her children. Seon-taek checks the office and asks after Mi-seon. A few glove boxes survive but smell of smoke and are unusable. They inform Manager Cha, who insists the order must ship on time to Africa. The supplier cannot make more gloves. Tae-poong buys flowers for Mi-seon, and she comforts him when he’s upset.
Tae-poong and Mi-seon stroll and he confesses love. Mi-ho attends a reunion instead and gets very drunk. Mr Jung calls Nam-mo, leading to an argument where Mi-ho admits she likes him. Eul-nyeo finds them and invites the pair to her pub for ramen. Manager Ha threatens Seon-taek’s son again, then returns to work.
Pyo Bak-ho scolds him for buying gloves without a confirmed deal. Mi-seon discovers Pyo Merchant Marines has a bulk order. Tae-poong visits their warehouse and asks Hyun-jun to sell the gloves. Hyun-jun refuses and hints he caused the blaze. Tae-poong drinks alone at his father’s old spot, lamenting lost time. Nam-mo joins and tells him Seon-taek entered the office after hours.
Tae-poong returns to the office and catches Seon-taek rifling through files. She admits searching for a promissory note under Bak-ho’s orders and taking a bribe. Tae-poong feels betrayed and skips going home that night. The next morning he storms into Bak-ho’s office and warns him off Seon-taek.
He demands Bak-ho sell the gloves to him, claiming he found the note. Ma-jin and Myung-gwan get a call celebrating Tae-poong’s good news at PPS. Hyun-jun erupts when Tae-poong takes the gloves, ready to fight. Mi-seon intervenes and slaps Hyun-jun.
Nine years ago Pyo Bak-ho neared bankruptcy and gave Kang Jin-young a 40 million won note. Now Tae-poong finds the note and pressures Bak-ho to hand over the gloves. Bak-ho adds a condition: if Tae-poong cannot produce the note, he must resign as CEO. Tae-poong signs the guarantee.
At Pyo Merchant’s warehouse Hyun-jun protests as Tae-poong collects the gloves. Mi-seon slaps Hyun-jun and drags Tae-poong away, saying his father would be proud. Back at the office the insurer agrees to cover the fire damages. They suspect arson but lack evidence tying Hyun-jun to it. Cha Seon-taek drops by and the team demands she apologise.
She cannot bring herself to apologise. That night Tae-poong sneaks into the old office to find the note. Police arrest him for trespassing. Mi-seon bails him out and they spend time together. He gifts her a new phone and they start texting. They plan a short sea trip because Beom has never seen the ocean. Seon-taek secretly sells her house and sends Bak-ho an envelope of money. Bak-ho reveals he promised Kang Ji-young thirty percent of his company.
After Manager Ha leaves Hyun-jun storms in and confronts his father. Bak-ho insults him and orders him abroad for a year. Hyun-jun strikes Bak-ho and locks him inside a storage container. At a pub Nam-mo plays a song and Eul-nyeo cries listening. The next day Tae-poong, Mi-seon, Nam-mo, Mi-ho and Beom visit the sea. Beom is awestruck by the vast water. Mi-seon makes Tae-poong collect clams to keep him focused. That night she tells a horror tale by the campfire. A call interrupts and Mi-seon pulls Mi-ho aside.
She says Tae-min is looking for Mi-ho and Mi-ho plans to respond. Nam-mo overhears and misunderstands the situation. Cramped tents push Tae-poong to sleep in the car. He searches the car for the note but finds an old report card. Mi-seon realises and joins him awake.
He confesses his CEO position might be lost. A flashback shows Tae-poong promising to return to their old office. After the holiday the team uses the gloves’ money to move back.
But the note is still missing on the due day. They visit Bak-ho’s office and find Hyun-jun at his desk. Tae-poong writes a dated note on the wall as proof. Back at Typhoon Trading the team celebrates their comeback. The episode ends with Bae Song-jung receiving a call about his father’s suicide attempt.
