Absent AEW star was backstage at Full Gear 2025 - Reports

AEW delivered an amazing Full Gear show this weekend that featured its top names from the roster. However, as per recent reports, a popular name who has been absent from the company for a while was also present backstage at the show.

Private Party's Marq Quen was present at Full Gear backstage. The 31-year-old star has been absent from All Elite Wrestling since losing his AEW World Tag Team Championships alongside his tag partner Zay in January this year. There were reports that Quen was still under contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion, and he might have to serve the time as well down the line.

Now, as per PWInsider, Marq Quen of The Private Party was present at Full Gear pay-per-view last night. While there is no further information about his return status, such a presence could be the beginning of a potential plan for a comeback. Moreover, the report adds that Quen's tag team partner, Isiah Kassidy, was not present at the event.

Only time will tell when and where Tony Khan is going to bring back the former AEW World Tag Team Champions. Considering their popularity among the fans, their return could make some buzz for the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Marq Quen recently lost his dog Cash amid his AEW absence

Marq Quen recently endured a rough patch in his life. He revealed that his longtime dog friend, Cash, passed away, leaving an empty void in his life. The former champion gave this massive update to his fans through an emotional social media post.

Quen posted an emotional story on his Instagram where he revealed the tragedy. The Private Party member also posted a wholesome video clip with Cash, reminiscing about his bond with the dog.
