Tyler Shough and wife Jordan announce surprise pregnancy revealing gender of first baby

Congratulations are in order as Tyler Shough and his wife, Jordan, have announced exciting pregnancy news on Monday: The couple is expecting their first child.

Jordan and Tyler shared a joint Instagram post, posting a few pictures of themselves. In the caption, they revealed the baby's gender:

"oh baby! we’re having a baby! 👼🏼🍼🧸 baby boy Shough coming February 2026," Jordan wrote.

They shared five snaps in the post. The first snap includes a picture of Jordan and Tyler Shough hugging each other. Jordan carefully kept her hand on her baby bump while the NFL star showed the ultrasound image.

They both twinned in knitted off-white outfits. Jordan Shough wore a body-hugging off-white dress and kept her hair open, while the NFL star wore a knotted knit sweater and brown pants.

Tyler Shough and Jordan tied the knot last year in April and are expected to welcome the baby before their second marriage anniversary.

Tyler Shough shares his wife Jordan’s reaction to him being named the starting Saints QB

Last month, Tyler Shough made headlines after the NFL rookie was named the starting quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. He was selected in the second round of the 2025 draft and finally played as the starting QB in the Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

In a press conference last month, Shough revealed that he first shared the news with his wife Jordan and opened up about her reaction to it.

"It was my wife, for sure," Shough said. "She’s been such a huge role in this, and obviously, just up to this point from college, every journey, every step in the process, through the whole draft process. So, it was a good feeling. "But she is also a competitor. She played soccer. She was like, 'Good, go out there and win.' She isn't satisfied with anything, neither am I. There's nothing to be excited about. We got to go out there and win," he added.

Tyler Shough and Jordan have announced their pregnancy news just weeks after he became the starting quarterback. In Week 9, Shough recorded 176 yards passing.

He had a more impressive performance against the Carolina Panthers in Week 10 as he recorded 282 yards passing to help the team win the game, 17–7. It was their second win of the season.
