Randy Orton last stepped inside the squared circle on the October 3, 2025, edition of SmackDown, where he teamed up with Cody Rhodes to lock horns with The Vision's Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. After losing the bout, Orton went on a hiatus.
However, he is heavily rumored to return to WWE TV ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames 2025. Many believe The Apex Predator could join Cody Rhodes' team for the Men's WarGames Match. The American Nightmare's team currently consists of Jey Uso, CM Punk, and Jimmy Uso. He needs to add a fifth member to his group, and Orton might be the perfect fit for it.
It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for Randy Orton's WWE future.
