Triple H decided to bring back a former World Heavyweight Champion on WWE RAW tonight. It was a huge occasion as the star had a chance to make it big immediately on his return.
Dolph Ziggler has returned on WWE RAW and Triple H has reacted
Ziggler ended up losing the match but it was a very near-thing. He had hit Sikoa with finisher after finisher. It looked for sure like Sikoa would be losing while the surprise opponent would get the win and go on to face John Cena.
Unfortunately, this was not to be. He did not win and ended up buried as he was pinned after only one Samoan Spike from the leader of the MFTs. This loss means that both Matt Cardona, and Dolph Ziggler, despite returning, were not able to get the big win that they were looking for.

Triple H decided to take a picture of the star and pointed him out to be a big name. He took the opportunity but fell short.
Given that Ziggler is signed with TNA, this does not seem like a huge long-term run for him here, but as a one-off it was a big moment for everyone.

While Triple H brought Zack Ryder back on WWE SmackDown, he saved Dolph Ziggler for RAW.
Ryder has already addressed his return and future in the company as well.
