Trey Yesavage's fiancee Taylor Frick teases romantic fishing date night with Blue Jays' ace

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Trey Yesavage and fiancée Taylor Frick have had an eventful fall so far. Yesavage was a key member of the Blue Jays' rotation that went deep into the postseason, with Frick providing strong support throughout his journey. The couple then announced they had moved in before announcing their engagement on November 14.

The pair continues to enjoy the offseason together, as Frick posted a snap from the two taking a fishing trip. On Saturday, she posted a picture of her future husband, holding a fishing rod and a cooler as he walked on a sandy beach against a picturesque backdrop of the setting sun.

Earlier on Friday, Frick had posted a picture of the two enjoying a special date night playing Pop the Lockat a gaming corner.

Despite Blue Jays' ending in heartbreak in Game 7, Frick had posted a congratulatory note for Yesavage, who ended up making more starts for Toronto in this postseason than he had managed since his regular season debut in September.

"To me, you won from the second you stepped on that Toronto field. You won with a team that believed in you, the records you have broken, & the support that is more than we could have ever imagined."

Last Friday, in a joint Instagram post, Yesavage and Frick announced their engagement. In the cover picture of a carousel, Frick could be seen with a shocked expression, with her hands on her face as Yesavage popped the question in front of the clear blue ocean waters.

A second pose saw the two embrace with Frick lifted off her feet. In the last picture, the Blue Jays WAG flaunted her stunning diamond ring as her hand remained placed on her fianceé's chest.

"11/13/25 ~ in this lifetime & the next, it will always be you," their caption read.

The engagement is a significant step for the young couple, as they embark on navigating their early 20s together. Yesavage will be under the spotlight in a market like Toronto, and Frick is expected to be a constant source of motivation, as she was during their World Series run.
