Trevor Lawrence’s wife Marissa shuts down pregnancy speculation after IG fan points out “baby bump” in off-shoulder gown for Jaguars' Christmas party

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence's wife, Marissa Lawrence, talked about speculation surrounding her second pregnancy on Wednesday. Marissa spoke out after an Instagram follower commented on her body after she posted a series of photos from the Jaguars’ Christmas party.

She reposted her picture on her Instagram story, wearing an off-shoulder burgundy-colored gown featuring thigh-high slit.

In the overlay, she responded to the IG follower's comment.

“Nope still just from the first one… let’s normalize your body changing after having a baby," Marissa wrote.

The reply came after the IG follower asked:

“Is that another baby bump starting?”

Other Instagram followers called out the comment as well.

“Why are we commenting on women's bodies in 2025??" one fan said. "What an extremely inappropriate thing to comment on another woman's body :) I hope no one ever does that to you!” another fan said. "Genuinely what is wrong with you? Normal humans do not speak to people this way," a fan said.

Marissa and Trevor's first child is a daughter named Shae Lynn Lawrence. She was born on Jan. 6.

The couple had announced the pregnancy in July 2024 ahead of the team’s training camp.

Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa shared their story behind her first pregnancy

In a post on July 31, 2024, Marissa Lawrence said she got pregnant sooner than planned after stopping birth control. At her first doctor’s visit, doctors thought she was six weeks pregnant based on her last period.

But the scan did not look the way they expected. She wrote that the doctor warned her she might miscarry and told her to be prepared for it to happen soon.

Marissa said her blood work from the same day showed hormone levels that matched a six-week pregnancy, which made things even more confusing. She was told to go on with normal life and that if she did not start bleeding naturally, they would talk about next steps.

A week later, things changed.

Marissa said her hormone levels kept rising and doubled twice. She went back to the doctor and learned that the pregnancy was healthy. She later found out she had ovulated late.

“It’s funny how a Dr gave me no hope and I believed it,” Marissa wrote.

Trevor Lawrence and Marissa tied the knot in April 2021.
