Best Wishes to Absent WWE Star Rusev

Rusev hasn't been seen on WWE TV in more than a month, but the Bulgarian star is expected to be enjoying the festive season since he celebrates his 40th Birthday on Christmas Day.

The former champion has been able to prove his worth in WWE since making his return earlier this year after a stint in AEW. Despite not being used effectively since making his return, there have been sparks that show that Rusev could be the Bulgarian Brute that he once was if given the chance.

It's unclear why he is absent at present, but he is someone that many fans expect to be a heavy hitter in The Royal Rumble next month. But it's unclear if he will be making his return ahead of the show, since he hasn't appeared on the main roster since last month.

Will Rusev's wife Lana make her return to WWE?

There have been rumors over the past few months, since Rusev's return, that Lana could be looking to follow her husband back to WWE.

The couple has had their own ups and downs over the past few years, but despite this, they have remained together, and Lana has commented several times on the fact that she wants to make her return.

It will be interesting to see if WWE wants to allow the couple to reunite since there are several couples in WWE at present who could go up against them.

Zelina Vega and Aleister Black are dominating SmackDown at the moment, whilst Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins could be set to reunite in the future after both being part of The Vision earlier in the year.

Lana was able to make her husband a star when the duo started out in NXT, and she could do that again if given the chance.
