Travis Hunter roasts Cam Ward in new behind the scenes video

Cam Ward and Travis Hunter were the first two picks of the 2025 NFL draft, and if there wasn't a budding rivalry forming between them already, there will be now. That's because the two stars are now playing for rival squads in the AFC South, with Ward getting selected by the Tennessee Titans with the No. 1 overall pick, and the Jacksonville Jaguars trading up to select Hunter with the No. 2 pick.

Tennessee selecting Ward was no surprise, as he was widely believed to be the top quarterback prospect in this draft. Jacksonville trading up to select Hunter was one of the biggest surprises of the draft, though, and they are now hoping he will be able to star at both wide receiver and cornerback for them moving forward.

With their new teams playing in the same division, Ward and Hunter will be getting quite familiar with each other over the next few years. It seems like a good relationship has already been formed between the two, though, as Hunter roasted Ward for his anti-Jaguars take in a new video that popped up on social media.

"I would hate to be a Jacksonville Jaguar," Ward said to Hunter during the 2025 NFLPA Rookie Premiere.

"We didn't want you, bro," Hunter quickly responded.

Ward put together a stellar 2024 campaign with the Miami Hurricanes to solidify his draft status, throwing for 4,313 yards and 39 touchdowns while also rushing for 204 yards and four more scores.

Hunter, on the other hand, saw himself emerge as a top-tier prospect thanks in large part to his ability to play both wide receiver and cornerback at an extremely high level. The former Colorado Buffaloes stud caught 96 passes for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense, while also racking up 36 tackles, four interceptions, and 11 passes batted on defense.

While Ward and Hunter are in the same division, they will have to wait awhile to play each other, as the Titans and Jaguars won't play until Week 13, with kickoff being scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 30 at 1 p.m. ET.
