Yasiel Puig's baseball career could be nearing its conclusion.
The former Los Angeles Dodgers shooting star is now without a team, again.
The Kiwoom Heroes, in Korea, placed Puig on waivers on Sunday.
The 34-year old outfielder was batting just .217 this season, although he did have six home runs in KBO action.
Puig played in the Mexican League in 2024 before heading to his second stint in the KBO for 2025.
He has also stayed active in the various Caribbean winter leagues.
Puig's last MLB action was in 2019 for Cincinnati and Cleveland.

If Puig wants to keep playing, there are surely small clubs around the world that will welcome his name.
But at some point, he'll have to call it quits. He made headlines earlier this season for charging the mound in KBO action.
He'll clearly never be back in MLB, and his time in professional baseball is certainly closer to its end than it has ever been.
