On Wednesday, November 5, the ninth episode of Transit Love (ExChange) 4 released on the internet, revealing more intrguing events that unfolded among the contestants. The episode focused on a few major events such as the keyword date, the controversy during the group talking room, the show's theme as time, and its relevance with the contestants.

Given that the show gathers ex-couples under the same room to either decide on rekindling their past love or finding new love through the dating show, the tensions between the ex-couple and their tendencies to kickstart a new romance is represented through the show's theme, time. For any of the contestants, their ex-partner is considered as past time and the new potential partners are referred to as future time.

This theme was explained through the time flow between Min-kyung and Yoo-sik, the ex-couple that has been garning much attention from netizens due to their long-term relationship and lingering feelings. The ninth Transit Love (ExChange) 4 episode started off with the keyword date, which is a mission where people with similar interests are paired together for a date. Both the male and the female contestants are asked to write a keyword of their choice, which will also set the tone and theme of the date. For this episode, the male contestants took the lead to choose the keywords and dates.

The keywords consisted of various prompts such as likes red wine, a love that's not sincere, sleeps when drunk, and more. Here are the pairings that took place during episode 9 of Transit Love (ExChange) 4:

• Woo-jin and Min-kyung
• Yoo-sik and Hyun-ji
• Jaehyeong and Ji-hyeon
• Won-gyu and Yun-nyeong
• Baekhyun and Jiyeon

On the other hand, the group talking room, which happened for the first time in this season, created quite a shock for several of the contestants. The group talking room gathered the male contestants who were interested in learning about the female contestants' past love stories, their current emotions, and feelings. During the same, Won-kyu was silently listening to Ji-hyun's talk.

While Won-kyu had thoughts of getting back together with Ji-hyun, Ji-hyun expressed that she had been too unhappy in the relationship to event return back to it. Later, we see her concerned about how she loved being in a relationship with Won-kyu but she's rather saddened to see that there are other Transit Love (ExChange) 4 contestants who would suit him better. On the other hand, Ji-yeon and Woo-jin also constantly meet up to try to fix things between them. Ji-yeon is still thinking about her chances of getting back together with Woo-jin, while Woo-jin has fully dedicated himself to winning her back.

Additionally, another ex-couple, Baek-hyun and Hyun-ji are also seen sharing a secret moment, which showcases to the audience that they both hold lingering feelings for one another. The conversation that shocked many netizens was the one between the ex-couple, Min-kyung and Yoo-sik. When Min-kyung confronted Yoo-sik on why he has been avoiding and treating her coldy throughout the series, he replies with tension in his voice.

He stated that their relationship had ended and that she can't expect him to give Min-kyung most of his attention since they are on a dating show. Therefore, their time flow was showcased to be conflicting. However, after the keyword date between Woo-jin adn Min-kyung, many viewers have been eagerly looking forward to see if they become a couple.
