While the 2025/26 campaign is approaching, Manchester City are still waiting on the decision of the 115 Financial Fair Play (FFP) charges hearing, which was first filed in 2023.
Back in February 2023, Man City were charged with 115 FFP breaches by the Premier League, which allegedly took place over a span of nine years between 2009 and 2018. The charges mostly focused on the manner in which players and staff were paid by the English club.
Man City have denied these charges, for which the hearing only commenced in September 2024 and lasted two months.
Now, ahead of the beginning of the upcoming season, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has shared his thoughts on Man City's FFP charges.
What did the Tottenham Hotspur chairman say about Manchester City's FFP charges?
In a recent episode of The Overlap with Manchester United legend Gary Neville, Levy expressed his opinion of Man City being charged with 115 FFP breaches and said,
"I think it would be really unfair of me to talk about another club in the Premier League, all I would say is that it’s going through a process which I think has gone on for far too long. It needs to be brought, for the good of the game, to a conclusion one way or another," as per the Manchester Evening News.

Neville further criticised the delay and how the Premier League have been handling the situation. To which Levy added,
"Well I, as I said, I think it was the FA that should have brought us all together. I agree, it's unfortunate that we haven’t been able to resolve things internally rather than the recourse of the lawyers because the lawyers are going to earn a lot of money out of this."
While the conclusion of the case was expected to be known at the beginning of 2025, reports have now suggested that Man City will have to wait until at least October for the verdict.
