Top AEW star reacts to being called the greatest in last 20 years

A major AEW star was recently called one of the greatest in the last 20 years of the wrestling business and has now responded to it.

That star is Dax Harwood, one-half of FTR along with Cash Wheeler and the duo's manager, William Stokely. FTR has built a reputation as one of the most successful tag teams in professional wrestling history. The former two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions, who joined the promotion in 2020, recently earned another shot at the tag team titles at Full Gear 2025. To add to their success, Dave Meltzer, speaking on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, stated that FTR and the Young Bucks are the greatest tag teams of the last twenty years. This statement has now prompted a response from Harwood.

It is worth noting that over the years, Harwood has developed a more individual reputation for being abrasive and outspoken on social media. In the same vein, the veteran reshared Meltzer's quote on his Instagram stories and suggested that he has been aware of it for a while.

Dax Harwood reacts to AEW star Mercedes Mone's ex getting married

For those unaware, Mercedes Mone divorced her ex-husband, Sarath Ton (also known as Mikaze), in August 2024. A few days ago, Sarath remarried a woman named Miranda Knesovich. He later posted photos from the wedding on Instagram. Many well-known figures from the wrestling world sent their warm wishes to the couple, including Dax Harwood, who wrote:
