Alex Bregman

The All-Star third baseman signed a three year contract with the Red Sox offseason. However, after a strong 2025 season, Alex Bregman opted out of his contract to become a free agent.

The former World Series winner has been strongly linked with a return to Boston in free agency. However, last season's World Series runner-ups, the Toronto Blue Jays, are also in the mix for the All-Star slugger.

Kyle Tucker

Much like Bregman, Kyle Tucker also had a strong 2025 season. Tucker slashed .266/.377/.464 with 22 home runs, 73 RBIs and 25 stolen bases to earn his fourth consecutive All-Star selection.

While Tucker has been linked with a return to Chicago in free agency, the Toronto Blue Jays have also been in pursuit of the All-Star outfielder after their World Series loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Cody Bellinger

Cody Bellinger is another outfielder who has been one of the most talked free agents this offseason. Bellinger had a strong season with the New York Yankees in 2025 and has been strongly linked with a return to the Bronx Bombers in free agency.

However, their crosstown rivals, the New York Mets, have also been linked with the All-Star outfielder.

Bo Bichette

All-Star infielder Bo Bichette is the other infielder apart from Alex Bregman who has been a coveted name in free agency. Bichette has been strongly pursued by his former team, the Blue Jays, in free agency.

The Red Sox are also reportedly interested in the two-time All-Star, who is open to playing second base.

Framber Valdez

The former Houston Astros star is one of the top starting pitchers available in free agency this season. Framber Valdez is coming off a rocky year with the Astros, but he has plenty of upside.

The New York Mets have reportedly met with the former Astros pitcher and are interested in adding the veteran pitcher to the rotation.
