The Australia vs England Ashes Test in Melbourne marked the last international match of 2025 among full member nations. The visitors pulled off a stunning four-wicket win in a game that ended on Day 2. In spite of the defeat, Australia ended 2025 with nine Test wins from 11 games. WTC champions South Africa were the other top performing side in red-ball cricket, winning seven out of eight matches.
In ODIs, India emerged victorious in 11 of their 14 matches, which included a triumph in the Champions Trophy final. New Zealand won 17 out of 20 games and Sri Lanka seven out of 13. Looking at T20Is in 2025, the Team India won 15 out of 21 matches, while Australia won 10 out of 16 games.

#5 Mitchell Starc (58 wickets)
Seasoned Australian left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc is fifth on the list of bowlers with most wickets in international cricket among full member nations in 2025. In 14 matches (25 innings), he claimed 58 wickets at an average of 18.41, with three five-fers and one ten-wicket match haul.
Of his international wickets in 2025, 55 came in 11 Tests, averaging 17.32. Starc claimed 6-9 against West Indies in Kingston, 7-58 & 3-55 against England in the opening Ashes Test in Perth and 6-75 & 2-64 in Brisbane. Starc also chipped in with the bat in Brisbane, contributing 77. The 35-year-old played three ODIs and claimed three wickets at an average of 38.33 and economy rate of 5.47.
#4 Kuldeep Yadav (60 wickets)
Team India's left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav was in and out of the playing XI across formats. However, he grabbed his opportunities whenever they came his way more often than not. In 25 matches (28 innings) in 2025, Kuldeep claimed 60 wickets at an average of 20.48, with one five-fer and five four-fers.
The wrist spinner played four Tests in 2025, claiming 20 wickets at an average of 23.15. His best innings figures of 5-82 came against West Indies in Delhi. Kuldeep picked up 19 scalps in 11 ODI, averaging 29. His best of 4-41 came against South Africa in Visakhapatnam. In 10 T20Is, Kuldeep claimed 21 scalps at an economy rate of 7.04. He starred with 4-30 against Pakistan in the Asia Cup final in Dubai.
#3 Blessing Muzarabani (65 wickets)
Zimbabwe pacer Blessing Muzarabani is in the top three on the list of bowlers with most wickets in international cricket among full member nations in 2025. In 31 matches (34 innings), he claimed 65 wickets at an average of 27.58, with three five-fers and one four-wicket haul.
Muzarabani played 10 Tests in 2025, claiming 42 wickets at an average of 26.8, with three five-fers. The 29-year-old picked up 7-58 against Ireland in Bulawayo, 6-72 against Bangladesh in Sylhet and 6-95 against Afghanistan in Bulawayo. In five ODIs, Muzarabani claimed seven scalps, with a best of 4-51 against Ireland in Harare. He also claimed 16 wickets in 16 T20Is at an economy rate of 7.79.
#2 Matt Henry (65 wickets)
New Zealand pacer Matt Henry also had an impressive year with the ball in international cricket in 2025. In 27 matches (29 innings), he claimed 65 wickets at an average of 16.87, with three five-fers and as many four-wicket hauls. Henry played three Tests in 2025, claiming 20 wickets at an average of 10.90. He picked up 6-39 against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo and claimed 5-40 during the same series.

In ODIs, Henry claimed 31 scalps in 13 matches. His best of 5-42 came against India in Dubai in the Champions Trophy. The 34-year-old also registered three four-fers. He claimed 4-19 and 4-55 against Sri Lanka in Wellington and Auckland respectively and 4-43 against West Indies in Hamilton. In T20Is, Henry claimed 14 wickets in 11 matches at an economy rate of 8.82.
#1 Jacob Duffy (81 wickets)
Another Kiwi, Jacob Duffy tops the list of bowlers with most wickets in international cricket among full member nations in 2025. In 36 matches (39 innings), the New Zealand pacer claimed 81 wickets at an average of 17.11. His stats include three five-fers and four four-fers.
Duffy claimed 25 scalps in four Tests, averaging 16.28, with three five-fers against West Indies. Duffy claimed 5-34 in Christchurch, 5-38 in Wellington and 5-42 in Mount Maunganui. The pacer claimed 21 wickets in 11 ODIs, with a best of 3-35. In 21 T20Is, Duffy claimed 35 scalps at an economy rate of 7.47. He claimed 4-14 and 4-20 against Pakistan in Christchurch and Mount Maunganui respectively.
