Recently, a couple of videos of the Chinese idol, ONER's LingChao, have been going viral on the internet for his interaction with sasaengs. One video showcased the idol walking across the airport, with a few fans surrounding him. As one of the fans took her phone camera close to the idol's face, he pushed the hand away. When the fan continued to get closer to take a video, the idol took her phone and grabbed the neck of her jacket to pull her to the ground.

The second video showcased the idol entering his car in a parking lot, when another fan was taking a video of the idol inside the car. Upon seeing this, the idol rushes outside to snatch her phone, pulls the fan, and pushes her to the other side. The fan in the second video later used this footage to allegedly brag about her interaction with the idol, which ignited the concerning and dangerous mindset of sasaengs. Here's what she wrote while reposting the footage:

"I feel something when I'm in someone's arms. That day, you took my phone, walked around the car looking for me, and asked if I still wanted it." wrote the saesang

As these videos landed on the internet, many netizens criticized LingChao's alleged rude and harsh behavior towards his fans, which could potentially hurt them. However, many fans came to his defense. They explained that the idol has been the victim in both videos, where his privacy was invaded. Many also expressed that he was harassed by sasaengs as they pushed their cameras into his personal space and stated that his actions were out of frustration, not just anger towards the sasaengs.

Though they were not fully in support of his violent actions, many empathized with the idol and understood the reason that led to such behavior. Here are a few fan reactions regarding the same:

"He is being harassed. If people do not see it, they need to put their glasses on. He looked frustrated, and I agree with him. Those are not fans! they are sasaengs who deserve jail time for harassing celebrities." said a fan

More fans and netizens also expressed their reactions to the recent viral videos of the Chinese idol, ONER's LingChao.

People need to learn to respect their privacy. I don't condone a man attacking a woman, but in this instance she is a concern to his privacy and safety. He has the right to defend himself as he sees fit. It's not like he punched her in the face.

It’s never okay to invade someone’s privacy or cross personal boundaries. No one should be judged for standing up for themselves. Respect goes both ways. For those who think saeseng behaiviour is acceptable, there is no difference between them and you

That's what stalkers deserve. Those are NOT fans. I like when artists defend themselves

I dnt know who he is but well done. These fans should know the limits.

Others also shared their thoughts and opinions regarding the same.

they need to get the fuck out them people face and maybe they wouldn't be turnt upside down on the concrete

people be throwing around the word abusive so carelessly these days. yall don't know sh*t about what these sasaeng are capable of and you tryna paint HIM as the bad guy for throwing her off his face. these ss gonna brag about it later that their "idol" has touched them.

quotes and comments mad at him but i think people who stalk and harass people deserve much worse lmaoo

I'm not even mad at this. These (fans) have lost all sense of propriety and personal space and should be reminded with force, if necessary, to mind a person's boundaries. They are people BEFORE they are a commodity!!
