Tony Khan makes a huge announcement just moments before AEW Collision

Tony Khan has just made some last-minute announcements before this week's episode of AEW Collision goes live on the network. He revealed that a major title match will take place during the show.

Tonight's show will be at the Bayou Music Center in Houston, Texas, and the promotion is continuing its road to Full Gear in just under two weeks. There will be potential segments and matches with major implications for the upcoming pay-per-view.

In a brief livestream just 30 minutes before the start of AEW Collision, Tony Khan announced some matches for tonight's show. One of these included Kyle Fletcher putting his TNT Championship on the line against Ace Austin. This will be a first-time matchup, and Ace's first title match since joining the company a few months ago.

Khan has already posted an official announcement on social media, which can be seen below.

Kyle Fletcher is set for major title match at AEW Full Gear

A few days ago, on Dynamite, another blockbuster match was made official for Full Gear, and this will have higher stakes, with a major stipulation being added to this.

The match will feature a rematch between Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship. This will be the sixth installment of this head-to-head feud, but this will arguably have the biggest bearing on the landscape of the company.

Briscoe proposed a no-disqualification match to finally settle everything between them and to guarantee that he wouldn't be cheated out of a finish again. Fletcher agreed, but Don Callis seemed to have other ideas as he wanted to gain something from the Sussex County Chicken. He wanted him to leave The Conglomeration and join the Don Callis Family if he loses.

Mark Briscoe ended up agreeing, and this match has already been made official for the pay-per-view. However, The Protostar will first need to conquer Ace Austin tonight before moving on to this major contest.
