Tom Cruise is the latest A-lister to jump aboard the Sinners hype train. On Sunday, April 27 the legendary action star posted a photo on Instagram of himself holding his movie ticket in front of a Sinners poster, calling the film a "must see in a cinema" and urging fans to stay through the end credits.
"Congratulations Ryan, Michael, and to the entire cast and crew," Cruise wrote. Michael B. Jordan himself jumped into the comments to show appreciation, writing, "Thanks for the love and support!!!"
Fans and celebrities also joined in. Comedian @im_dontai added, "Of course my goat knows what a great film is." Actress Yvonne Orji said, "Game recognize game," and Letterboxd simply added: "Tom has spoken."
Sinners is directed by Ryan Coogler, 38, and stars Jordan, 38, in dual roles, and has been a breakout hit since its release. The two teamed up on the first Creed film. Sinners blends horror and drama as twin brothers battle a vampire invasion at their Mississippi nightclub. It has already crossed $160 million at the global box office and has earned widespread critical acclaim.
With Cruise, 62, now adding his voice to the chorus of praise — and Jordan himself celebrating the moment — Sinners continues to build momentum as one of 2025’s must-see movies.
