Shedeur Sanders wasn’t the only Browns draft pick who got prank called

The Cleveland Browns had the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. But, instead of drafting Travis Hunter, the Browns traded down and moved to No. 5 in a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That led the Browns to select Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham at No. 5 in a big boost to the defensive side of the ball.

As it turns out, the Browns later would select Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round, ending the massive slide for the former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback. Moreover, Sanders was the subject of an ill-timed prank call involving Jax Ulbrich, the 21-year-old son of defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.

But, oddly enough, Sanders wasn't the only one. Penn State tight end Tyler Warren said he also received a prank call, but now it turns out Graham was also the subject of a prank call. Mason Graham's father, Allen Graham, confirmed that, via Tony Garcia of The Detroit Free Press

"Yeah – that happened," Allen's said. "Someone made a TikTok while crank calling him & showed his number on the video... his phone was getting called nonstop."

That's just an unfortunate situation for anybody waiting for their NFL Draft dream call to come through. Thankfully for Graham, he was selected fifth overall, so there wasn't much waiting around for him.
