Tom Brady was never expected to win all the Super Bowl rings he did in his career.
But he grew into the GOAT for the New England Patriots, with a late-career stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tacked on, and now he's a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and the top color commentator on Fox's NFL broadcasts.
Not bad for a sixth-round pick.
Brady looms large this weekend for a couple of reasons.
The Patriots are back in the AFC Championship Game for the first time since Brady left. It's a chance for Drake Maye to take the Pats to the Super Bowl.
Brady is also finishing his second season as a broadcaster, as he'll call the Seahawks-Rams game in the NFC Championship before the Super Bowl this year is on NBC, not Fox.
It means plenty will be asking the same question about Brady this weekend.

When did Tom Brady retire?
Tom Brady retired when he was 45 years old.
That was the 2022 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And unlike every other season of his career, Brady had a losing record (8-9).

Now, he's involved in multiple other aspects of football as his journey with the sport continues.
