Tom Brady drops 4-word message as Patriots legend prepares to return to football

Tom Brady retired from the NFL in February 2023. However, the iconic quarterback is set to return to the field in March 2026 for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Saudi Arabia during Riyadh Season.

Brady, who played 20 years with the New England Patriots and three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, shared a message on his Instagram story on Thursday about his eagerness to return to the field.

"Loading... March 2026 LFG," Brady wrote on his IG post, which featured a photo of footballs laid out on a field.

Brady won six Super Bowls with the Patriots and one with the Buccaneers. He retired as the player with the most Super Bowl rings in NFL history.

In September, Brady said he was looking forward to competing, which is something he hasn't done often since retiring.

“It felt like the perfect time for me to hit the field again and get my competitive juices flowing,” Brady said.

Brady took part in and won the Fanatics Games in New York in June. He received $1 million for finishing first at the event.

Since his retirement, Brady has joined Fox as an analyst. He is currently in his second year with the broadcast giant.

Brady will be in the announcers' booth for the Minnesota Vikings (3-4) vs. Detroit Lions (5-2) Week 9 game at Ford Field on Sunday. Brady will handle the analysis while Kevin Burkhardt will serve as the play-by-play commentator on Fox.

Brady has garnered mixed reviews as a commentator. Some have also pointed out that he should not be calling NFL games since he is a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
