The Sky Sports Racing cameras head to Hexham and Newcastle on Thursday with something for fans of both jumps and Flat action.
3.02 Hexham - Breeze Of Wind seeks more glory
Breeze Of Wind will face six rivals in his bid to regain his crown in the Bk Racing Hexham Marathon Handicap Chase over four miles at Hexham.
After justifying odds-on favouritism to land this contest in 2024, Stuart Coltherd's gelding was a close fourth last year and returns to a track where he has won two of his three starts.
Gary Rutherford's Don Brocco finished a place ahead of Breeze Of Wind 12 months ago and will be stepping back up to the trip today for the first time since contesting this race last year.
Planned Paradise impressively landed the North Wales National 15 days ago for Christian Williams when upped in trip and Charlie Maggs will be hoping further progression can be made to land this contest.
Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore's De Legislator will have to defy top weight if he is to record a fifth career win, while Rob Roy Macgregor will be bidding to go one better than his run last time out for Sandy Thomson.
Shighness for Micky Hammond and President Scottie for Nicky Richards make up the field of seven.
3.48 Newcastle - In-form Yorkshire Glory seeks four-timer
A field of 10 will contest the opening race at Newcastle, the Midnite: Built For 2026 Not 2006 Handicap.
Ben Haslam's Yorkshire Glory will be looking to complete a four-timer and continue his excellent form this all-weather season. If the five-year-old can record a seventh win this winter, he will move to the head of the horse of the year leaderboard and move one step closer to landing the £100,000 bonus.
Raft Up was only half a length off Yorkshire Glory last time out and Harriet Bethell's five-year-old returns 8lb better off at the weights in his pursuit of a first win since June.
Five-time previous course and distance winner Asadjumeirah is one to keep an eye on for Antony Brittain who goes well here. Having filled the frame in recent runs, the eight-year-old will be looking for a first win since he justified favouritism here in September.
Veteran Brian The Snail is another to note and is having his 99th career start for Patrick Morris.
7.15 Newcastle - Aisling Oscar eyes horse of the year prize
A field of 11 go to post in the Midnite Are Upping The Betting Game Handicap and Adrian Keatley will be hoping his Winter sensation Aisling Oscar can increase his lead at the top of the horse of the year leaderboard. After 13 runs so far this all-weather season, the five-year-old has amassed 251 points, including his eight consecutive wins, and will be looking to move further clear (depending on Yorkshire Glory's run) on his first run over six furlongs since 2023.
Grant Wood was successful 16 days ago over today's course and distance and Paul Midgley will be hoping the 2lb increase is not enough to stop his gelding recording a sixth career win.
Ziggy's Condor could be another key contender here who has form of 421 at this track and returns here only 1lb above his last winning mark.
Consistent William Dewhirst is an intriguing runner for Ben Haslam who was in great form last all-weather season and returns after 364 days off the track.
