TKO Group was on the receiving end of a lot of fan backlash after R-Truth announced last week that WWE would not renew his contract and that he would leave the company. However, just days later, Truth is back under the company's wing, and TKO has shared a message celebrating the fan-favorite's surprising return at MITB 2025.

The sports entertainment juggernaut cuts ties with performers more than once a year, either by releasing them or allowing their contracts to expire. However, in R-Truth's case, there was an unprecedented backlash, as a collective sense of shock emerged when WWE and its parent company, TKO, let such a beloved name go.

The negative reactions don't seem to have fallen on deaf ears, as the veteran performer is already back in the company after returning at MITB 2025. He appeared in the final minutes of the event, where he attacked John Cena, allowing Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso to secure the win over Cena and Logan Paul.

As expected, several reactions poured in after his return that brought the house down at Inglewood, with even the TKO Group issuing a tweet. Check it out:

WWE seems to have already changed Truth's name to Ron Killings, signifying a change in his character to a more serious and unhinged one.
