Titans trade rumor could result in deal with Steelers, Chiefs or Jets

The Tennessee Titans reportedly have a quarterback available for trade and three teams that may have interest are the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets.

According to NFL reporter Evan Sidery, the Titans are shopping quarterback Will Levis and would take a Day 3 pick for him.

"The Titans are shopping Will Levis in return for a Day 3 pick swap. Tennessee would clear $2 million moving off Levis, which they’re eager to do as they continue building their roster around Cam Ward," Sidery reported.

Levis was a second-round pick of the Titans in 2023 and showed immense promise during his rookie campaign before everything went off the rails in 2024.

Tennessee moved on rather quickly, drafting Cam Ward in 2025 with the No. 1 overall pick, which instantly made Levis expendable. He likely would have been traded last season if not for a shoulder injury that kept him on the shelf.

The Kentucky product is still only 26 years old and has impressive arm talent and mobility and we'd bet there are teams willing to take a flyer on him for what will likely be a late Day 3 selection.

The Steelers could have interest in such a trade, but only if Aaron Rodgers decides he isn't coming back to Pittsburgh.

In that scenario, the Steelers could trade for Levis and throw him into a starting competition with Will Howard and Mason Rudolph.

In Kansas City, the Chiefs aren't certain if Patrick Mahomes will be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign after suffering a torn ACL late last season.

If not, the Chiefs would be forced to start either Chris Oladokun or Jake Haener and we believe Levis is better than both of them, especially with an offensive guru like Andy Reid guiding him.

When it comes to the Jets, they could definitely use more competition in their room. Geno Smith is set to start, but there is nothing inspiring behind him.

Justin Fields is going to get cut or traded, and that will leave just Brady Cook and Bailey Zappe (futures deal). Levis could very well beat out both of them for the backup job behind Geno.
