Free agency hasn't even officially started yet, but several top names have reportedly agreed to terms already.
Players can't officially sign deals until Wednesday, but that doesn't stop news breaking early. The Tennessee Titans are one team that has already reportedly agreed to deals with several players. Wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, cornerback Alontae Taylor, and defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers, have all agreed to deals with the team so far.
The Titans also added helped out the pass rush by trading for Jermaine Johnson last week. Several holes have already been filled before free agency even starts, so it seems like the team's plan with the No. 4 pick is becoming clear.
Jeremiyah Love gaining steam to be Titans pick
Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love has regularly been mocked to the Titans this offseason. The team added fuel to that fire by bringing Love in for a top 30 visit last week.
It makes sense that the Titans would be interested in Love. The team desperately needs more offensive playmakers for young passer Cam Ward, and Love could transform the ground game overnight.
The Titans just haven't been the same since Derrick Henry left in free agency. Of course, Tony Pollard hasn't been bad, but he's not an elite talent that can carry an offense, while Love could be.
The Titans already added to the defensive line, pass rush, secondary, and receiver room, meaning running back is arguably the biggest need remaining.
Love to the Titans also makes some sense because of how the top of the draft could play out.
Other team linked to Love makes big free agency move
The Arizona Cardinals are one pick ahead of the Titans and are another team that has been rumored to be interested in Love.
It's possible the Cardinals still are, but it seems less likely after Monday's report that the team is signing Tyler Allgeier. The deal is reportedly for two years and over $12 million, so it's not a cheap investment either.
If the Cardinals aren't planning on drafting Love, then the Titans will have the chance to.
It may seem like a luxury pick to draft Love this high, but he was extremely productive at the highest level of college football and contributes in the run game and as a blocker as well.
