Florida State Seminoles quarterback Tommy Castellanos led his team in their 24-10 loss to the Clemson Tigers. The dual-threat QB cut a dejected figure after the game, and he vowed to play better.
College football fans weren't having it, and they took to X (formerly Twitter) to give their two cents on Castellanos.
A fan said, "Time to make a change at QB…"•

However, some were more sympathetic to his plight.
One fan wrote, "Nothing against Tommy but he is playing at his skill level. There is no “better”." Another said, "Tore up the ACC at Boston College though right?" One chipped in, saying, "Love Tommy as much as the next guy but we need to start getting Sperry some reps for next year."Tommy Castellanos started the season with a bang as he led the Seminoles to three straight wins. However, their form soon took a nosedive as they suffered four consecutive losses, derailing their CFB playoff hopes.
Castellanos has put up decent numbers throughout the season, but it's hardly translated to winning football. So while the Seminoles QB1 is vowing to play better, there are several fans who'd rather see it on the gridiron rather than hear it in a press conference.
Tommy Castellanos and FSU face a tricky end-of-the-season schedule
Tommy Castellanos was no match for Cade Klubnik and the Clemson Tigers. Klubnik threw for a touchdown and ran for another as his Tigers inflicted the Seminoles with their fifth loss of the college football regular season.
The loss puts further pressure on the oft-criticized Mike Norvell, and it might have done some damage to Tommy Castellanos's draft stock. Bucs Wire currently views the Florida State Seminoles QB1 as a sixth-round pick.
Following the loss, the Seminoles have a tricky end to their campaign. There's the home game against the 3-6 Virginia Tech Hokies, a side also vying for bowl game eligibility.
Then there's a trip to face off against the NC State Wolfpack. The Wolfpack are 5-4, but have a game against the Miami Hurricanes up next. A loss versus Carson Beck's Hurricanes would mean that they'd be 5-5 when facing off against the Seminoles.
The last game of the season is against eternal rivals, the Florida Gators. The Gators might currently be in a mini slump, but they'll sure bring the heat in front of their fans against the Seminoles.
