Timberwolves' Chris Finch nearly lost his mind after ejection

1 hour ago 2

Chris Finch wasn't thrilled.

The Minnesota Timberwolves had just appeared to be fouled twice. First, it was Anthony Edwards on a drive, and when he missed through contact, Julius Randle couldn't finish the putback as he, too, appeared to be fouled.

The Wolves coach was ticked.

He got his money's worth, too.

The officials ejected Finch pretty early in his tirade. Twice, his players and assistants tried to hold him back. Twice, he eventually circled back around to scream some more.

By the last trip, Finch got some choice language and a lot of finger-pointing in, too.

It is a tough spot for a coach to be in, because he can't challenge a non-call. Only if a foul is called can a coach challenge that it wasn't a foul.

So here, all Finch could do was let the refs know they were wrong. And he sure did.
