Tim Tebow’s wife, Demi-Leigh, reveals the meaning of her daughter’s name in a heartfelt post

Tim Tebow’s wife, Demi-Leigh, shared the meaning of their daughter Daphne Reign Tebow’s name in a sweet post she shared on Instagram while announcing the birth of the baby. She shared a joint post with her husband, and in the caption, she discussed the name of the baby. She named it after her grandmother's sister.

"I never got to meet my mom’s mother, but her sister, Daphne, stepped in as a grandma figure to me. She was so special to my mom and I — a tiny, kind and strong South African woman who always had shortbread in the house, was the epitome of grit and grace, loved Jesus, had the voice of an angel and made everyone feel seen and special," Leigh wrote. ......I’ve loved this name since I was a little girl and for as long as I can remember I always said that if I ever get blessed with a daughter, I’ll name her Daphne. Shortly after Tim and I got married, I shared that desire with him, and thankfully he loved the name just as much as I did." she added.

Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh got engaged back in 2017, and then tied the knot three years later in South Africa. He is currently enjoying time away from the field and works as a college football analyst for ESPN.
