Manchester City appear to be ticking the names off their transfer target list early on in the ongoing summer transfer window.
One such name on Man City's list has been midfielder Tijjani Reijnders. The AC Milan star attracted attention with his performances for the Rossoneri in the 2024-25 campaign, where he registered netted 15 goals and provided five assists in 54 appearances.
With his contract at AC Milan valid until June 2030, Reijnders has earlier hinted at his interest in joining Man City this summer.
Several reports have suggested that Man City and Reijnders have reached an agreement, and his medical assessment has recently been completed.

While speaking to reporters after the medical following which he is set to rejoin his national squad for the match against Malta on June 10, Reijnders explained the rush behind the procedure.
The Dutchman expressed (comments via Gazetta dello Sport) his keen interest and excitement to play in the Club World Cup with Man City and said,
"The medical tests? I couldn’t wait any longer. The intention is to participate in the Club World Cup with City. I’m excited about it. This way I can get to know my new teammates straight away. I’ll return to Zeist on Sunday evening. Then I’ll prepare for Tuesday’s match against Malta."
Man City are set to lock horns with Moroccan side Wydad AC in their first match of the 2025 Club World Cup on June 18 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
