On Wednesday, November 5, BLACKPINK's Jisoo's China fanbase, @CHINAJISOOBAR, took to their X account to reveal their upcoming protest truck against BLISSOO. The protest truck is expected to be placed in demand for better management, promotions, and styling for the BLACKPINK member.
In their notice about the protest truck, the fanbase explained that they've witnessed repeated poor management and styling of the idol, especially at important events such as the 2025 Paris Fashion Week and the promotions for her recent collaborative track with ZAYN, Eyes Closed.
They also pointed out that there have been no short-form creative videos or well-timed announcements about her events and schedules. Therefore, they called out BLISSOO for their alleged mismanagement of the idol and explained the need for a protest truck to attain proper actions from the agency.
Their demands included the replacement of the makeup, hair, and styling artists of the idol's team and the installation of better marketing and PR professionals. When this post landed on the internet, many netizens agreed and supported the idea of bringing in a protest truck.
Many agreed that fans' demands often go unnoticed through online campaigns, and protest trucks hold a better chance at fulfilling their demands. However, many fans of the idol pointed out that BLISSOO is Jisoo's own label, and it wouldn't make sense to go against her agency to make demands about her career.
Some also stated that it could seem offensive to Jisoo since she stands as BLISSOO's CEO, and the people managing her career and the company are most likely picked out by herself. Therefore, many suggested against the idea of a protest truck. Here are a few fan reactions regarding the same:
"What actions? Now they're going to threaten her own company over her own career? Stop with the nonsense. @officialBLISSOO don't waste your time with this crap, do things the way you see fit because it's YOUR career." said a fanWhat actions? More fans and netizens expressed their opposition to the protest truck.
Poor Jisoo going to get embarrassed. Basically tell her she ain’t doing a good job handling blissoo. 💀
Jisoo is not a doll that you can dress how you want or make her do things you want her to do. She does what makes her happy and sometimes it might not align with what YOU want does not mean you can just push her around. She's ceo and ultimately one who decides.
its so funny to me when fans send protest trucks to companies their faves own😭😭 like wdym demands directed solely at BLISSOO’s management and not Jisoo? she’s the boss JDBJSHSHS
Jisoo is the CEO of BLISSOO and made all the decisions you're complaining about herself. You're just pretending to be "concerned" because you know attacking her directly won't fly. The only petition I support is for Jisoo to take a break and rest before her comeback.
On the other hand, people continued to highlight the necessity of a protest truck at BLISSOO.
People crying in qrts saying this is too much like you guys are okay with the bare minimum her team is giving? Not even a single promotion and ppl expect us to stream whole day staying motivated..ok
good bc eyes closed released and yet no promotions like does jisoo think this is how u do it in the entertainment world or what?
We sent emails, identified the issues and posted them on Instagram stories tagging the staff, sent letters to Jisoo at the airport, and left messages under the Blissoo account. We did everything that fans could do, but nothing changed. We were forced to make such a decision.
i support CJB’s decision. fans are at their limits NOW. and if blissoo doesn’t move now, her full album’s achievements will be even worse than Amortage. of course no sooyas wants it, right? we are at our limits now, fans cannot do everything.
All you need to know about BLACKPINK's Jisoo and her solo activities
Following Jisoo and her BLACKPINK bandmates' departure from YG Entertainment in December 2023, the members kick-started their own labels or joined new agencies for their solo activities. In February 2024, Jisoo established her own agency, BLISSOO, in collaboration with her brother's company, Bio Mom.
Around January 2025, BLISSOO signed with Warner Records for a global deal. Soon after the same, the idol released projects in both the music and acting industries. In February 2025, she released her first independent EP, Amortage, which held its title track as the song, Earthquake. Around the same time, she also released her zombie comedy series with Park Jeong-min, Newtopia.
The series was an adaptation of the Influenza novel by Han Sang-hoon. In July, she rolled out another acting project with her role in the fantasy film, Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, which is a webtoon adaptation under the same name. In October, she released a collaborative single with the British singer ZAYN, called Eyes Closed.
Currently, she's on tour with her fellow BLACKPINK members on the second leg of their DEADLINE World Tour.
