WWE legend John Cena recently made a massive appearance ahead of his retirement at the end of 2025. A popular former champion dedicated a post to The Cenation Leader. The name in question is Natalya.
John Cena is at the tail end of his professional wrestling career. The 17-time World Champion will hang up his boots after one final match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, 2025. Ahead of his retirement, Cena is taking time out from his busy schedule for everyone. He recently went to the WWE Performance Center, where he met several up-and-coming stars. The Cenation Leader did something similar once again, as he went to WWE icon Natalya's training facility, The Dungeon.
Following his massive appearance at The Dungeon, The Queen of Harts took to Instagram to dedicate a post to The GOAT. Nattie thanked John Cena for taking out time to visit stars at her training facility.
She also wrote that Cena was continuing to set the standard for what it meant to be a leader in wrestling.
"Thank you, @johncena. The most valuable gift anyone can give is their time — and you’ve never stopped giving it to others. You continue to set the standard for what it means to lead, inspire, and give back. John Cena announced plans for his final WWE match
At Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1, 2025, John Cena announced that starting from next week's RAW, there would be a 16-man tournament to decide his opponent for his retirement match on December 13.
Cena also revealed that the participants in the tournament will be from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and even from outside the Stamford-based promotion.
"On my last day, I wanna face whoever is willing to step up and seize the same kind of opportunity I was given on my first day. Therefore, starting a week from Monday on RAW from my hometown in Boston, a 16-man tournament will commence. The field will be chosen at random. Filled with competitors from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and maybe even some faces who don't even work here. There will be stars with whom I have a storied history...," he said.It remains to be seen who will face John Cena at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, 2025.
