"This is absolute embarrassment": NFL fans rip Mike Tomlin after Steelers' disappointing performance on SNF vs. Chargers

Mike Tomlin had another disastrous outing on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a disappointing 25-10 loss on the road in Week 10, after last week's 27-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

Following this result, Tomlin and his team are now 5-4, but are still on top of the AFC North. However, the Baltimore Ravens are slowly catching up, which might impact their chances of making the playoffs this season.

After the game, Tomlin received heavy backlash and criticism from fans on social media for his team's loss to the Chargers. This has raised questions about his hot seat status and job security with the franchise.

"Mike Tomlin on TNF/SNF is always a national embarrassment for a team," one fan commented. "Art Rooney is a joke. Omar Khan is a buster who never should've been our GM. Mike Tomlin is 13 yrs past when he should've been fired for traded. This organization is an embarrassment! They're not serious about anything. SHAMEFUL," another fan said. "Yeah they don't deserve to play Prime Time games until Mike Tomlin is fire. I am so done with his bs. Time to bench Rodgers and play Will Howard/Rudolph but that ain't happening. This is absolute embarrassment and dog s**t football from the steelers vs what we saw from them vs the Colts last week," this fan stated. "Is it time for Tomlin to go? How many times do we have to say this? This by far was the worst Steeles game I've ever seen! Pathetic!! another fan wrote. "I won't like if the Steelers blow this division to the Ravens Mike Tomlin has to be fired dawg lol," one fan said. "Mike Tomlin must be fired immediately," this fan commented.

Tomlin has been the coach of the Steelers since 2007. He led them to victory in Super Bowl XLII, but lost to Aaron Rodgers former team, the Packers in Super Bowl XLV.

However, over the past few years, the Steelers have been struggling to find their previous successful form. Tomlin has not won in the playoffs since losing to the Patriots in the 2016 AFC Championship game.

Mike Tomlin expresses disappointment after 25-10 loss to the Chargers

In the post-game press conference, the Steelers coach praised Harbaugh's team for their performance on the field. He also highlighted some of the key issues on this team that contributed to this loss to the Chargers.

"I have got to give credit to the LA Chargers, specifically (DC) Jesse Minter. I thought their collective did the job," Tomlin said. "You're not going to win football games not converting third down and losing the turnover battle. And we were certainly loose with the ball on several instances and didn't convert enough third downs. So that's the end result. There's nothing mystical about it."

Tomlin, however, believes that they will improve on their weaknesses and come back stronger against the Bengals on Sunday.
