Perez Hilton has shared a clip of Jennifer Lopez receiving a plaque for her sold-out Las Vegas residency. The singer-songwriter got emotional as she received it, and the director of the show lauded her contribution to music.

Jennifer Lopez commenced her Up All Night Residency at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas on December 30. She also had a show on New Year's Eve. She will then perform on January 2 and 3, 2026, before returning in March.

Perez Hilton was invited to the residency on New Year's Eve and also to a New Year's Party after it. He shared a video from the party on his YouTube channel on January 1, with the title:

"This Made Her Cry! I Was Invited To Jennifer Lopez's New Year's Eve Private Party"

JLo received a plaque as all her shows at the residency were sold out and she got emotional after the director's speech. He said:

"Thank you for the extraordinary leadership, both artistically and personally, for inspiring all of us, your crew, your band and your dancers, to strive for excellence every single day. To do the work tirelessly and passionately, just as you do. "You have created more than a show. You have created a family. Your message of love, gratitude, and kindness has encouraged us to dream boldly, to be limitless, to continuously strive, to be better, to treat ourselves and others with compassion and grace," he added.

Meanwhile, Lopez will return to the Residency on March 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 27, and 28.

In another YouTube video, published on Friday, January 2, Perez Hilton also shared his review of the superstar's show. He lauded the concert and also claimed that it was the "best thing" she's ever done.

The blogger said:

"I've seen all the residencies in Vegas, from the Backstreet Boys to Katy Perry's, Celine, and more. So, I think I can safely say, this new Jennifer Lopez residency. Is not just the best thing she's ever done, but it is one of the best residencies in Vegas history. Boom. It was so unexpected. Because I was worried, y'all."

He also compared JLo's show to Janet Jackson's, highlighting that the latter did a lot of medleys but Lopez didn't. He said:

"The JLo show, it all felt so special. And it did have newness to it. Like, I've never seen J Lo bring this Broadway showgirl side to her. I love the fact that the Kiss of the Spider Woman film, which flopped, heavily influenced this. She does a song from Kiss of the Spider Woman. She does happy days are here again. She does, don't rain on my parade. "She also does reference the haters out there who don't like her. She also references her many marriages and is able to poke fun at herself. It's calculated, and it works. She jokes about.. Her public perception. An amazing performer. Like, we're at 57, 56 in her late 50s. Now, she's at the peak of her powers. Physically, vocally, and creatively," he added.

Hilton heaped praise on Jennifer Lopez's dancers, set designers, costume designers, and production team as well. He also claimed that Lopez is a "better performer than Mariah [Carey]".
