Stephen A. Smith made a wild admission about Josh Allen's wife, Hailee Steinfeld. On Thursday's episode of ESPN's "First Take" ahead of the Bills vs Chiefs Week 9 game, he took a moment to state that when he sees the 2024 NFL MVP, he "thinks" about the "Sinners" actress.
"Every time I see that man, Josh Allen, because he's phenomenal, he's great. Everytime I see him, I'm thinking about his wife, Hailee Steinfeld" Smith said (Timestamp- 1:15).Stephen A. Smith later clarified himself, stating that he was heaping praise on Steinfeld's acting skills.

Despite the clarification, fans took to the comments to call out Stephen A. Smith for focusing on Josh Allen's wife on the show.
"Thinking about someone wife is diabolical," one fan commented. "Wild compliment of Allen's wife," another fan said. "Every time you hear Josh Allen you think about his wife lmaoo yoo and then tried to qualify it bc her acting stop it," this fan wrote.
