"They scared" - Jey Uso on cancelled WWE plans; Jimmy Uso reveals all

Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso are one of the greatest tag teams in the history of WWE. The Usos have been one of the most important pillars of the company's tag team division for the past decade. The duo recently reunited and made their way back to the tag team division. In a recent interview, Jimmy revealed the plans WWE cancelled for their WrestleMania 40 Brother vs Brother match.

Jimmy and Jey Uso faced each other at WrestleMania XL in a Brother vs Brother match. Fans around the world were very excited for this match as it was the culmination of a 4 year long story with Jey and the Bloodline. However, the match was very disappointing as it went on for only 11 minutes and was filled with just superkicks.

While speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast with Rosenberg Wrestling, Jimmy revealed that Jey was very disappointed with the match and originally wanted it to go on for 30 minutes. Jimmy stated that Jey felt like the management was scared to give them 30 minutes.

"He be like: 'Man, they know, they know we can cook, man! They scared to give us 30! They scared to give us 30, dog! We're about to steal that!'” He said. (16:10 onwards)

Fans around the world were hyped to see Jey vs Jimmy at WrestleMania but ended up being disappointed.

Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso recently returned to the tag team division on RAW

On the 8th December edition on RAW, the Usos came out to interrupt the New Day and the reigning World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Styles and Lee had recently defeated the War Raiders and New Day were looking to take advantage of their tired bodies and face them for the titles. However, Jimmy Uso and his brother Jey Uso interrupted them with a major announcement.

"The Usos also got a big a** announcement to make. We are back in the tag team division. " said Jimmy.

The Usos were later announced to face the New Day on the next week's edition of RAW, a match they ended up winning. They are now set to face AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team titles on the final RAW of 2025.
