New York felt his absence and sustained a 115-104 loss on the road. Last time Brunson suited up, he dropped 47 points and eight assists on the Miami Heat.

Meanwhile, Guerschon Yabusele's status was upgraded to questionable after Wednesday's practice. The French star has missed the previous two encounters owing to illness.

Miles McBride and Landry Shamet will continue to remain sidelined owing to their respective injuries. McBride is dealing with a left ankle sprain, while Shamet is recovering from a right shoulder injury. The Knicks, meanwhile, are second in the Eastern Conference standings with a 20-9 record.
