"They f***ed my dog over": Micah Parsons slams Jerry Jones's Cowboys for placing Trevon Diggs on IR amid injury concerns

Micah Parsons may no longer be a Dallas Cowboy, but he still has some love for his old teammates. And he is not happy with what has happened to one of them.

On Saturday, cornerback Trevon Diggs was announced to have entered injured reserve because of a concussion that he sustained in an incident at his home. This was his third straight time doing so at some point during a season, following an ACL tear in 2023 and its aftereffects in 2024.

While his fellow All-Pro/Pro Bowler has yet to make a statement, Parsons did. He condemned Jerry Jones' organization when speaking to Yahoo Sports' Jori Epstein:

“Honestly, I feel like they f***ed my dog over, you know what I mean?. He’s coming off a catastrophic knee injury and I just didn't think they did right by him. He didn't participate all camp and he's going out there playing Week 1 and 2. I just don't think you do that to a player like that.”

He continued:

“And the type of knee injury he had, they forced him out there. He has no reps really. He’s telling me he was in warmup phase during Week 1. Even with the ramp-up, I just feel like you just don't do that.”

Micah Parsons praises Aaron Rodgers after Packers' win at Steelers

Yesterday, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-25 on the road in Aaron Rodgers' first-ever game against the team he quarterbacked for nearly two decades. Micah Parsons, who had a sack in the game, was simply in awe at the multiple-time MVP's aura.

He said:

“He's one of five quarterbacks in the league where you say he's one of the greatest of all time. He's on that GOAT list next to [Tom] Brady, under Brady, and there's only a select few guys that you're going to put right there with him. That's why he is who he is, and that's why he's still able to play at a high level.”

His fellow edge rusher Rashan Gary, meanwhile, said pressuring Rodgers into failing to tap into his reads was key to the win:

“If you give him time in the pocket, to pat the ball, he's going to give his playmakers an opportunity to make plays.”

The Packers next host the Carolina Panthers this coming Sunday. Kickoff is at 12 pm CT on Fox.
