Mercedes Moné added to her championship belt tally by winning another title outside AEW during a surprise appearance. Fans reacted to this and could not believe she continued to add to her collection.

The CEO made an appearance at EWA Prater Catchen, which was held in Vienna, Austria. She competed in a Triple Threat match against Lexa Valo and Mila Smidt, defeating them to become the EWA Women's Champion. This marks the fifth belt she has held to date.

Mercedes Moné dropped her NJPW Strong Women's Championship to AZM last month but has immediately found a replacement. She now holds the TBS Championship, the two belts forming the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Title, the commemorative belt for winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, and the EWA Women's Championship.

Fans have reacted to the situation and could not understand why she continued to capture titles, with one calling her the most selfish wrestler of this generation and others comparing her to Hulk Hogan.

Some wondered when enough belts would be enough for her, and when she'd finally lose. Another fan joked about AEW just buying her cheap belts to add to her collection.

A promotion reportedly benefited from Mercedes Moné's appearance

At Wrestle Dynasty, Mercedes Moné defeated Mina Shirakawa to win the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship. While she added a belt to her collection, she also took on increased responsibilities, as she needed to travel to defend each title. At one point, she held titles from three different continents.

Back in April, The CEO flew to England to appear at RevPro High Stakes, putting her title on the line against Kanji. Fightful has reported that the promotion's on-demand numbers grew following her appearance.

“One source pointed out the uptick in RevProOnDemand numbers following Mone’s appearance at RevPro High Stakes, stating that it would be a ‘no brainer’ for any independent promotion in Europe to book Mone should she be willing to appear,” the report noted. [H/T - Ringside News]

Now, Mercedes Moné holds titles from three different countries, which will require her to travel frequently to defend them. However, it seems that a star of her caliber continuously appearing for each promotion will work in their favor and could be the reason for giving her the belts.

If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
