Earlier this year, WWE legend John Cena turned heel and claimed that he would ruin professional wrestling. However, it seems as if Gunther has managed to do so for a lot of fans at the 48-year-old's expense.
After winning the Last Time is Now Tournament, The Ring General locked horns with the Never Seen 17 at Saturday Night's Main Event. After some engaging back-and-forth action, Gunther secured the win by making Cena tap out to his sleeper hold.
The 38-year-old has since been boasting about making John Cena give up. He recently took to Instagram stories to mock the WWE Universe by sharing clips of dejected fans after John Cena's loss. He added a caption with each of the videos, one of which insinuated that his win over The Cenation Leader marked the death of the childhood of many fans.
"the moment my childhood died😭," he wrote.Real Reason why Mick Foley Quit WWE - Check Here!

Bubba Ray Dudley believes John Cena will assist a popular WWE Superstar against Gunther
Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley proposed a storyline in which John Cena returns to motivate Cody Rhodes during the latter's feud with Gunther.
The veteran pitched a storyline in which The American Nightmare would start having self-doubts when face-to-face against a monster heel in the form of The Ring General. He added that it would be the moment for Cena to step in and motivate Rhodes.
"One day, Cody Rhodes is going to be face-to-face with Gunther... By the time we get there, Gunther will have been built up to a level where he will be the immovable object. He's going to be THAT guy. Cody is going to have doubts, and Cody is going to have a problem with Gunther... One day, like a Force ghost, John Cena will return at the right moment to remind Cody who he is. In my world, that's what I see happening," Dudley said.Only time will tell if and when Cody Rhodes and Gunther wrestle against each other.
