Honkai Star Rail 3.8 Twitch drop rewards and how to get them

With Honkai Star Rail 3.8 debuting, the developers have introduced a new wave of Twitch drops. Players can now tune in to their favourite HSR content creator’s stream and earn freebies as well. These freebies include various in-game items such as Credit, Traveler’s Guide, and more. Since this is a new set of drops, Trailblazers might wonder what the requirements are.

Every Honkai Star Rail 3.8 Twitch Drop and their unlock requirements

The Honkai Star Rail 3.8 Twitch drops have already gone live on December 17, 2025, alongside the new patch. Although the update has been extended, the drop will still expire on January 14, 2026. Hence, to acquire all the related items, you must complete the requirements in the abovementioned time window (which is roughly a month).

While the Twitch drops are active, all you have to do is just watch a livestream of your choice from the “Honkai Star Rail” category. Once you accumulate enough watch time, you can acquire the following items:

• Credit - 20,000x
• Lost Gold Fragment - 4x
• Condensed Aether - 5x
• Traveler’s Guide - 3x
• Stellar Jade - 30x

How to unlock the Honkai Star Rail 3.8 Twitch drops

Like every other drop on this Amazon-owned platform, you have to accumulate a certain amount of watch time for every item. The more you progress, the requirements also increase. As there are five drops you can claim for free, the whole campaign is split into five parts. However, when you start watching a livestreamer on Twitch, the watch time counter for every drop increases simultaneously.

Here are the requirements to unlock every Honkai Star Rail 3.8 Twitch drops:

• 20,000x Credit - Accumulate 15 minutes of watch time
• 4x Lost Gold Fragment - Accumulate 30 minutes of watch time
• 5x Condensed Aether - Accumulate 45 minutes of watch time
• 3x Traveler’s Guide - Accumulate 1 hour of watch time
• 30x Stellar Jade - Accumulate 2 hours of watch time

Once you get every drop, head to the “Drops & Rewards” section by clicking on your profile picture and claim them. Make sure that your HoYoverse account is connected to your Twitch account before claiming the drops. The process is straightforward, as you have to hit the purple “Connect” button and follow the instructions.
