Yee-haw! The Season 2 premiere of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys is only a few days away! After its stellar first season, the reality TV series is making the jump from USA Network to Bravo for future episodes. With family patriarch Steve McBee stepping back from the spotlight, his sons Steven Jr., Cole, and Jesse are now in charge of running McBee Farm and Cattle and its various businesses. With those responsibilities come the pressures of turning a profit and paying off their empire’s debts, all while juggling their personal lives and struggles.
As Season 1 revealed, the McBee men are involved with fiery women who challenge them. We saw the collapse of Steve’s relationship with Galyna Saltkovska, the Russian CFO of McBee Farm and Cattle, and Steven Jr.’s tumultuous connection with on-again/off-again girlfriend Calah Jackson, who gave up her life in Dallas to be with the rancher. In Season 2, Steve has moved on from Galyna to her best friend, Masha, which naturally sends Gayla into a downward spiral.
In this exclusive clip from the Season 2 premiere, Galyna and Calah meet up in town and sit on a bench to have coffee and talk about Masha coming on to Steve at the farm. “I knew after you already moved into your new house. I think we went over for dinner or something and Masha was there without you,” begins Calah. “That is so freaking wild,” says Galyna. “I was like, ‘this is weird,'” continues Calah. “Everyone thought it was very fucked up. Did you know anything while it was happening?”
As Galyna shakes her head, Calah is shocked. “So, she literally just snucked in?” asks Calah in disbelief. “Oh, she did,” replies Galyna. “She’s the biggest freaking backstabber ever.” The camera thing cuts to a photo of Masha and Galyna looking cozy together. “Masha started reaching out to me and I was like, ‘oh my gosh, somebody from my country and I can speak my language,'” Gaylna says in her confessional. “We had something I thought in common.”
“She’s such a snake,” says Calah after hearing Galyna’s story. “Gold digger has her moves,” says Galyna. Back in her confessional, Galyna reflects on the situation. “Everything was sneaky and behind my back. They were lying straight to my face the entire time.” Back on the bench, Galyna continues. “People came to me and said, ‘You’re not the first one she did this to.’ She has done it to multiple men and women,” says Galyna. Calah’s jaw drops as Galyna keeps going. “Like, she would befriend the woman and then go after her man.”
“I believe it, 100%,” says Calah in shock. “This is her way to support herself,” says Galyna. “She’s disgusting,” replies Calah. Now incensed, Galyna can’t stop herself and keeps going. “You know what she told Steve? She’s taking the entire summer off to focus on him,” says Galyna incredulously.
Both women can only laugh, knowing part of the reason things went south between Steve and Galyna was that he thought she was too clingy. “I’d be on a trip, and she’d be like, ‘can I come to the lodge?'” remembers Galyna. “I’m like, ‘well, that’s weird, I’m not there, but I trust you.’ I literally said those exact words.” Calah listens intently. “That is the ultimate betrayal,” says Calah. “I would never do that to any woman ever,” says Galyna firmly. Calah can only nod in reply.
In her confessional, Calah expresses her true feelings. “I think Galyna has amnesia,” starts Calah. “You were the other woman. You did the same exact thing to Kristi [Steve’s wife of 28 years]. They had children involved too,” says Calah. “That situation was way more fucked up than the Masha and Galyna situation.”
Will Galyna be able to move on from Masha’s and Steve’s betrayal? Or is this karma coming for her? Tune in to the Season 2 premiere on Monday, June 30, at 9/8c on Bravo to find out!
