A WWE Hall of Famer recently shed light on a real-life situation in which the FBI had to get involved. He claimed that it went on for several years before the intelligence and security service eventually got involved.
Speaking on his 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff podcast, former WCW Executive Producer Eric Bischoff recently opened up about a stalker situation. The wrestling veteran claimed that a disturbed young woman stalked him for around eight years before the FBI had to get involved. He stated that the lady would mail things to his house.
"I had a stalker once, and the FBI had to get involved. Look, it was a disturbed young woman. This went on for years—like eight years. She would mail stuff to the house. You'd read something in the mail, look at it, and go, ‘Wow, that’s crazy,’ and throw it in the garbage. Then you’d get another one, then another one, and they just kept coming," Bischoff said.The former WWE RAW General Manager added that as the mail kept getting weirder, he decided to turn the mail over to Turner Broadcasting’s internal security team, which ultimately led to the FBI getting involved.
"I looked at them, and they kept getting weirder and weirder. At that point, I turned them over to Turner Security… I decided it was time to get somebody else involved. Eric Bischoff believes popular star will return to WWE
Former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho is currently signed with AEW. However, he has been absent from television for several months. As the veteran wrestled his last match back in April, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding his potential return to the Stamford-based promotion.
On a previous edition of the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff stated that Jericho is a smart person and plans ahead for his future. The WWE Hall of Famer noted that he can bet all his money on the 55-year-old going back to World Wrestling Entertainment.
"He's a very smart guy and he plans ahead. He thinks ahead... If I had to bet money, I would bet he's going to end up in WWE. If I had to bet, and somebody would really have a reason to force me because I wouldn't want to take that bet, but if I had to, that's where I'm putting my bet.... I don't know what the plan is, but Chris has got a plan," Bischoff said.
