Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom raves about return to Muay Thai: “I like it”

It seems Phetjeeja ‘The Queen’ Lukjaoporongtom has missed her time in ‘The Art Of Eight Limbs’ after spending more than two years developing her kickboxing skills.

She told Nick Atkin in a recent interview:

“Yeah, I’ve [temporarily] stopped fighting Muay Thai for two years, been fighting kickboxing, and now, I think it’s very good that I started Muay Thai again. It has elbows, it has knees, it has clinch. Everything. I like it.”

After winning her first Muay Thai fight in years, Phetjeeja is now shifting her focus to capturing the sport’s gold and is looking for a showdown with Allycia Hellen Rodrigues next for the atomweight belt.
