Taehyung’s birthday sparks massive global fan projects worldwide

Beyond Versailles, multiple large-scale birthday projects for Kim Taehyung are unfolding worldwide. These initiatives represent only a portion of a much broader global effort. Fan collectives across regions continue to roll out tributes simultaneously.

For the Winter Bear singer's 30th birthday, Baidu Vbar sponsored an entire airplane in China. The project also extended across major urban landmarks. In Shanghai, a 3D mega screen lit up Nanjing East Road’s Century Square. The location draws over 800,000 pedestrians daily.

The display ran from December 30 from morning to night, and the screen measured over 285 square meters. Meanwhile, Changsha hosted another large-scale installation. The Pozi Street Impression City mega screen reached nearly 300,000 visitors daily. Its size exceeded 600 square meters.

Additional support appeared underground. All 128 digital lightbox screens along Seoul Subway Line 2 went live. Each carried birthday messages from Chinese Taehyung supporters. Other projects followed in Korea as well. Nuna V launched a V Day outdoor digital media campaign. A billboard was displayed in Seongsu from December 24 to December 30, operating daily from early morning until midnight.

Korean fanbases also joined forces for a moving advertisement. V Inside and Kim Taehyung Supporters coordinated a wrapped bus project. The campaign runs from December 25 through December 31. Routes cover the HYBE area, Gangnam, Hongdae, and Yeouido.

Beyond Asia, the momentum continues overseas. In Colombia, Tae Stream Colombia launched Project Three titled V On Screen. V now appears across screens at Mall Plaza in Bogotá. The display marks yet another international extension of the birthday campaign.
