There are a ton of big names among the New York Knicks' fanbase.

One of the consistent courtside fans is Ben Stiller, and he has an adorable behavior of pulling out his iPhone to take video of the game from his vantage point.

Stiller then often shares the videos on his social media, including the game-ending sequence from Game 2 in San Antonio:

The thing is, Stiller has a visual eye. He knows what he's doing.

He's even shooting in Log, according to The Athletic, which allows for color to be enhanced in post-production but would be difficult for a novice to take video in.

Stiller will be there as the NBA Finals return to Madison Square Garden, and he'll surely hold his phone up in key moments.

All you'll have to do to see the output is check out his X (formerly Twitter) account.

His reason for doing so? It's simple.

Why does Ben Stiller take Knicks video on his iPhone?

Stiller, mostly, is thinking about others.

“If you’re lucky enough to have that access and have that point of view, I feel like it’s great to be able to share that,” Stiller told The Athletic. “I think that’s the biggest part of it, is to be able to share that point of view because I feel so grateful to have that. And then it’s fun to be just witnessing it.”

At the same time, Stiller is simply a modern fan -- just a more well-known one than most.

When big moments happen at sporting events, fans all over arenas and stadiums are holding their phones up. That urge hasn't escaped Stiller.

“It’s just incredible. It’s so exciting,” Stiller told The Athletic. “Obviously, to do what I love doing, and then my favorite thing to do is to go see the Knicks play, (it’s special) to have that come together.”

Count on Stiller doing his thing down there courtside, and he'll be hoping that the Knicks keeping doing their thing on the court itself, too.
