After weeks of leaks, the Minnesota Timberwolves have officially unveiled their new look for the 2026-27 season and beyond.

The Timberwolves last updated their look in 2017, when they attempted to modernize their logo and uniforms by introducing navy blue to their color scheme and unveiling a brand new logo.

After fans clamored for a return to the past, the Timberwolves are turning back the clock -- but they're going back even further than some wanted.

Here's a look at Minnesota's new uniforms and logo for the 2026-27 season.

The Timberwolves' new color scheme eliminates both shades of blue used by the team over the last nine years and brings back a form of royal blue used from 1989-95, their first six seasons of existence.

The new uniforms below are designed to look like those worn during those seasons:

Minnesota will don white, royal blue and black versions of the uniform next season with "Wolves" across the chest of all three jerseys.

Some fans wanted the Timberwolves to instead turn back to the Kevin Garnett-era uniforms that prominently featured trees in its branding, but it's possible the team could still wear a throwback uniform from that era as they have in recent years.

The logo looks closely like the logo the Timberwolves have used for the last nine years, but with the color scheme used by the team from from 1989-95.

Minnesota's "global icon" features the wolf logo above surrounded by the team's full name, in accordance with NBA rules, but the Timberwolves are using the above logo as their social media profile picture and displaying it atop their website.
