Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts on the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua boxing match and warned the former Disney star against continuing to fight bigger opponents for too long.
Paul went up against Joshua in a professional heavyweight boxing match at the Kaseya Center in Miami last weekend. While most combat sports fans expected Joshua to finish Paul within the first two rounds, 'The Problem Child' surprisingly survived till the sixth by maintaining his distance and resorting to clinching whenever necessary.
Joshua ultimately found the knockout in the sixth round and managed to break Paul's jaw in two places. Given the former Disney star's dismal condition after the fight, it's no surprise that Rogan wants him to take long-term health risks into consideration while booking fights.
In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Tom Segura (JRE #2429), the UFC commentator said:

"He's 28 years old, 29 next month. Don’t do this for very long, because there is a price you pay that is not worth it... That price is deep depression, a severe brain imbalance that's going to lead you to addiction; it leads so many people to impulsive behavior, so many people become gambling addicts, drug addicts, alcoholics after their fighting career. You can only take so much."He added:
That one [punch] that he got from Joshua... There were a lot of concussions in that one punch by Joshua. That was real damage. If someone is breaking your jaw in two places, the inside of your f**king head... There's a lot of damage going on in there too."Jake Paul calls out boxing legend right after Anthony Joshua loss
Jake Paul appears interested in a fight against Canelo Alvarez next. In a social media post, 'The Problem Child' confirmed the extent of the injuries he suffered in his fight against Joshua and called for an Alvarez bout next.
In an X post, Paul shared an X-ray image of his broken jaw and wrote:
"Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in ten days."Why did you not like this content?
